We are so proud to deliver our 100th episode of femchord to the airwaves. Our interview with Allston Pudding’s Christine Varriale and her feelings on watching the project grow and her own journalism mature is the perfect reflection of our own feelings on femchord—it’s our baby.
So, one hundred episodes in, we’re excited to announce some big changes. We are transitioning from a weekly radio show to a monthly podcast. This switch will allow us to bring you a high-quality show, with a focus on our interviews, in a variety of formats available for download. Our first podcast episode will be available on July 2, 2018 on femchord.com. Future episodes will go live the first Monday of each month. We are also going to be making select previous interviews available on iTunes for download beginning in June.
We love interacting with our listeners and want to make ourselves as accessible as possible, so we’re also starting a Facebook group in June to discuss episodes, share news about women and nonbinary people in music, and provide a place for networking, problem-solving, and more.
We are so excited to share this next evolution of femchord with you. HEYYA FEMCHORD 2.0!
